Law
Catherine advises private clients on a wide range of matters relating to family, succession and immigration law.
In family law, she assists clients with issues involving children, such as recognition, parental rights and protective measures, and with all aspects of separation and divorce. She has developed particular expertise in high-value financial, providing strategic and pragmatic guidance in complex situations. Her work also includes matrimonial planning, from the drafting of marriage contracts, including those with an international element, to the structuring and protection of family wealth.
She also advises high-net-worth families on family governance, a field that brings together her dual interests in business and family law, helping clients preserve both their assets and their family harmony.
In succession law, she advises individuals and families on estate and succession planning, in Switzerland and across borders, and also handles matters related to elderly law, such as lasting powers of attorney.
Her practice further includes immigration matters, where she assists clients with relocation to Switzerland, naturalisation, residence permits and changes of status.
Mediation
After more than a decade spent representing clients in court, Catherine became increasingly aware of the limits of litigation, the time it demands, its significant cost and the emotional toll it takes.
Driven by a genuine interest in dialogue and lasting resolution, she decided to deepen her understanding of alternative dispute resolution methods, training in interest-based negotiation and, more specifically, in mediation. In 2025, she obtained the title of Mediatior of Swiss Bar Association.
In her mediation practice, Catherine works with individuals and families across all areas of law. She believes that each person has the capacity to find their own path to resolution, and that the mediator’s role is to guide them with clarity, respect and trust. Driven by this conviction, she creates a space where dialogue can emerge and where each party can move towards understanding and constructive solutions.
